Emma Chapman

Director

Emma is Director of Business and Commercial Services at the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust (WWT), responsible to the CEO for the Finance, Administration, Governance, HR and Training, Health and Safety, ICT Membership, Fundraising and Communications functions.

She began her business career with sixteen years in the banking sector with Barclays, latterly as a Branch Manager and Local Business Manager in the East Midlands. In 2003 Emma joined a Nottingham based enterprise agency, as Business Development and Operations Manager, moving two years later to a rural based enterprise agency as Deputy Chief Executive and then Chief Executive. During this period she also served on the Board of the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies and as the Federation’s Regional Director for the East Midlands. In 2010 Emma was appointed Head of Enterprise Services at the UK’s largest enterprise agency, NWES, based in Norwich. When the NWES Group acquired an Educational Charity the following year, Emma moved to head up the new acquisition, known as NWES WoW (World of Work).

She is delighted now to be applying her wide range of business skills and charity sector experience in support of the work of WWT. Emma’s interests include keeping fit; classic cars, especially Jaguars; dogs and dog training – from Irish Wolfhounds, through Gundogs to Border Terriers; collecting antiques; natural history and the environment; and gardening. She is married with three step children and five grandchildren.
